Our Farm-2-Early Childcare Education Partnership

Over the summer of 2026, Providence Riverland Farm entered into a unique contract with First 5 Shasta, Shasta College, and the CDFA in the Farm 2 Early Childcare Education Program.

Our responsibility was to provide boxes of fresh, tasty produce to the childcare centers so they might educate the children in their program about healthy eating and the deliciousness of NATURAL foods grown locally.  

We had a blast, and the kiddos loved the deliveries week after week.  This successful program allowed many to benefit from the nutrition and taste, the community connection and the good business of buying wholesome, local foods.
